Tara! Linisin Natin 'To Part 4

The Regional Project of Region 3 of District 301-A2 of the Lions Clubs International continued on their Coastal Clean Up project entitled "Tara! Linisin Natin'To Part 4."

The clean up proved to be a more than the usual challenge as it followed the passing of Typhoon Lannie. This caused a lot more debris and plants on the shore. With 449 volunteers that day, the challenge was accepted and resulted in 836 sacks of trash.

Several organizations joined the different Lions and Leo Clubs including the Mio Owners Republic Cavite Chapter, the Coast Guard stationed in Cavite City, students from the Cavite State College in Cavite City and the 4P's (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program) of Cavite City.

This clean up effort will continue again next month. Other organizations are encouraged to join in.
