Regional Project: Tara! Linisin Natin Ito Part 3

Region 3 of District 301-A2 of the Lions Clubs International continued their coastal clean-up of Cavite City last August 19, 2017. Other than the local Lions Clubs, Leo Clubs and 4Ps (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program), other organizations decided to join in last Saturday's activities.

The Philippine Air Force based in Sangley Point in Cavite City and the Mio Owners Republic Cavite - Team Rosario also joined in clearing the trash along the coast.

That morning, more than 207 volunteers cleared away 602 sacks of trash despite the high tide limiting the area where the trash could be collected. The collected trash was again picked up by the local government to be brought to the dump site.

This is the third installment of the clean up project and is expected to continue in the next months.
