Medical Outreach Project
The Magdalo Lions Club, along with the Leo Club of Magdalo, reached out to a cancer patient to assist them with some necessities they need in their most trying of times.
In total, the club donated cash, medical supplies and gift certificates to a drugstore in order to alleviate some of the hardships being experienced by the family.
The patient, who had been experiencing pains in his chest for a while was finally diagnosed of having a pulmunary mass. He has been in and out of the hospital for the past four months. However, with lack of funding, an operation in the Lung Center of the Philippines could not have been scheduled. Because of this, the patient's symptoms have been worsening with continued pain, kidney failure and pneumonia.
